Family NB of  Webcourne and Grantham (Lincolnshire) and of Upwell (Norfolk)

This family is an updated version of Chapter 1 of Audley Pedigrees and consists of over one hundred individuals in the period 1537 to 1800.
The initial person in the family is said to be an illegitimate son of ‘Lord Audley’. A.L Reade in ‘Audley Pedigrees’ predicts that the most likely candidate for this Lord Audley is {ZC} James Touchet (1898? – 1459) who was killed at the Battle of Blore Heath. The history of Barons (Lord) Audley can be found in the {Z} series of ‘Audley Family Histories.
